Restoring and editing a document version
There may be times when you may wish to make changes to a previous version of a document without losing the changes made in any other version. The previous version will not contain any of the changes made in later versions. In order to make changes to a previous version, you will need to edit it then release it as the current version.
- Go to the document for which you wish to edit a previous version.
- Select for the document then Details to open its Details page.
- Expand the Versions section.
- Select for the document version you wish to edit, then .
- Enter a reason for editing this version.

.If you have Objective Director, the document version opens in its native application ready for you to edit.
If you do not have Objective Director, the document is downloaded and you will then need to open and edit it.
- Edit and save the document.

Close the application and release it from edit.
The selected version of the document you have edited is now the current document version.
