Uploading a new document version
If you have downloaded a document from Objective ECM and have been editing it locally and then decide that it should be included in Objective ECM, you are able to upload it as a new version of the existing document. You are only able to upload a new document version if you have ‘Edit’ privileges for the object.
When you upload a new version of a document, it’s first locked to you and then released. If any errors occur during upload of the new version, then the document isn’t released and it remains in the edit state until you manually release it and/or correct the error.
