Starting/running workflows

Starting/running workflows are similar:

• Start is mainly for case objects. A case object can be any object in Objective ECM that is configured to run with workflows.

  When you want to start a workflow for a case object, the Choose a workflow to start blade appears and you can then select a workflow to start. Only workflows that can run the selected object are listed.

• Run is usually when you are trying to start a workflow directly without first selecting a case object.

  When you run the workflow, the start task form for the specific selected workflow shows up.
