Silent start for workflows

When designing workflows in Objective Navigator, your Workflow Administrator can make them start silently - that means that if all the mandatory values required to start the workflow are provided, a workflow will start without displaying the start task form.

If an icon is not displayed next to a workflow name , it indicates that the workflow is configured to start silently.

However, if mandatory fields do not have values, an error message will be shown and you have a choice to cancel or proceed to add mandatory values and then start the workflow manually. If you select Proceed, the start task form will be displayed and you can then fill in values and start the workflow.
