Errors when saving emails

If errors occur when saving emails and/or attachments to Objective ECM, the successful completion message will not display. You will be returned to the email or attachment that has the error, so that you can resolve the issue. Some of the possible errors that may occur when saving emails to Objective ECM, are:

  • your credentials are incorrect

    The Settings dialog box displays for you to enter your credentials and the address of the server where your documents are to be stored.

  • you do not have permissions or privileges to save the emails in the selected container

    Change the container you are saving to or ask your Objective administrator to grant you permission to the selected container.

  • the server connection is lost.

    Ask your Objective administrator to check and re-establish the server connection.
