Creating renditions
You can create PDF renditions for Objective

- Find and go to the document for which you wish to create rendition.

Either from its object card, Details panel or Details page select
and Create Rendition. Depending on the number of menu options, you might have to select More Actions first.
If you want to create a rendition for a previous version, expand the Versions section from the document's Details page, and select
> for the required version.
The Create Rendition dialog box appears.
- Select or enter in the Create Renditions dialog box:
- Click Create.

Rendition format |
Select a rendition format. By default, the Onscreen option is available. You might be able to select other rendition formats if they have been configured for you. |
Rendition security |
(This option will not be displayed if your rendition format does not support it.) Select User password: Optionally, select and set a password that a user will have to enter to open the PDF rendition. Document restrictions: Optionally, select and set restrictions on the PDF document - such as no printing, no changing document, no content copy and no interaction. In the Document restrictions section, you can also set a Master Password, which can be used to reset user password and other document restrictions. |

Send email notification when renditions are complete and available |
If this checkbox is ticked, an email notification is sent with the link to an original document to your email address when complete renditions are available. The PDF copy will be created, then displayed on the Renditions section on the Details page of the original document. |
