Adding objects

There are a number of ways that you can add objects to Objective ECM:

• upload objects from your local device
• create a folder
• create an exchange link
• create a file request
• create an electronic object
• create an internet link
• create a new document from a template.

Newly added objects display at the top of the list in the Content pane. Select Refresh on the toolbar or your browser refresh button to re-order the newly added object(s) in the sort order you have chosen for the list.

The type of object you can create depends on your privileges and permissions.
