Voting on approvals
Once a document has been submitted for approval, all appointed approvers are notified by email that they must vote. If you receive an email notification, you will be given an Objective reference to the document requiring approval. Click the reference to open the document in Objective

- Find and go to the document for which you wish to vote. Alternatively, open the document using the link in the email notification you had received.
-
Either from its object card, Details panel, Details page, document version card or document version details page select
then Vote on approval.
-
In the Vote on approval dialog box, you can choose who you are voting as from the Acting As list.
If you are an Objective administrator you can act as any user or group nominated as an approver. Otherwise, as a non-administrator user, you can select which group (if you are in it) that you wish to vote on behalf of (there may be multiple groups) or you can act as yourself.
- Enter a description and click either Approve or Reject. If you wish to Reject it, you must enter a description.
You will receive an email notification once your document has been approved or rejected.
If anyone rejects a document then the entire approval process ends.
