Saving a version

During a co-authoring session, when you are editing a document in Microsoft Office Online you may want to save a version to Objective ECM. This is useful when you want users, who are not part of the co-authoring session, to view the changes made to the co-authored document. This does not impact the co-authoring session.

When you save the document, a new version is created and the document continues to be in the edit mode.

Important:  If you are editing a very large document, it might take some time for your changes to be saved in Microsoft Office Online. Ensure that your changes are saved before saving a version to Objective ECM.
