Working with Objective OLE properties

If your organisation has licensed the OLE Properties Xlink, you can view Objective ECM document properties and add them as fields in documents from within Microsoft Office applications.

Adding Objective OLE fields is only available:

if you have the OLE Properties Xlink licence
for Microsoft Office products

To view Objective OLE properties from the Microsoft Office document:

Click the File tab.
Click Info.

The document properties are displayed on the right-hand panel.

Click Properties to open a drop-down menu.

Select Advanced Properties.

The <File Name> Properties dialog box Custom tab is displayed.

The Properties pane displays a list of property names, values and types, including Objective OLE properties for this document.

The following Objective fields are displayed:

Name	Description
Objective-Comment	The description entered to describe the document.
Objective-Creation Stamp	The date the document was first created/added in Objective ECM.
Objective-DatePublished	This is the date that the document was last published.
Objective-FileNumber	This is the file number.
Objective-Id	The Objective ID of the document. This will match the name of the document outside of Objective ECM. For example, A46.
Objective-IsApproved	Whether the version of the document you are currently viewing has been approved for publication.
Objective-IsPublished	Whether the version of the document you are currently viewing is published in Objective ECM.
Objective-ModificationStamp	The date the document was last edited.
Objective-Owner	The owner of the Objective ECM document.
Objective-Parent	This is the name of the parent document.
Objective-Path	The folder hierarchy path where the document is found in Objective ECM. Each folder is separated by colons (:).
Objective-State	The current state of the document inObjective ECM. For example, being edited.
Objective-Title	Document name used in Objective ECM.
Objective-Version	Version number of this document in Objective ECM.
Objective-VersionComment	The reason the file is being edited.
Objective-VersionNumber	The number of times this document has been released.
Objective-FileNumber	The Objective file number reference.
Objective-Classification	Security classification of this document.
Objective-<Catalogue field name>	Each available catalogue field will also have an entry.
Objective-Caveats	Caveats associated with this document.
