Changing settings

You can specify the connection details for Objective ECM from your Microsoft Office applications, so that you can seamlessly access Objective ECM without having to enter the details every time.

  1. Open your Microsoft Office application.
  2. Select Settings on the Objective ECM section of the Home ribbon.

  3. Select Add Account and enter the URL location of your Objective ECM Server.

    This is the root URL of Objective ECM.

    For example, https://<AppServer host>[:user interface port]

  4. Select an authentication method.
  5. Select Save.
